Patient Advocate

This position requires a two-year college degree and a minimum of three years experience in health care. The experience must be in patient care, client/customer services, financial services or patient accounts. Previous experience working with health care providers and or Social service is desired. The patient advocate must be able to work with MedBill Services Caseworkers, Case Managers and Client Representatives. They must have computer experience with Microsoft word, excel, and be capable of working with our T-1 data base system. The candidate must have good bedside manners, be understanding with our referred patients and have good oral and written communication skills. All candidates must undergo drug testing and a background check before being employed with MedBill Services Inc.

On-Site Case-Worker/Eligibility Specialist

This position requires a four-year college degree and a minimum of three years experience in health care and or social service. The experience must be in patient care, client/customer services, financial services and/or patient accounts. Previous experience working with health care providers and/or in social service is desired.  Experience working with the department of human services or the department of health is desired but not mandatory.  The position requires screening patient and processing claims for third party assistance (TPA) programs Medicaid, Social Security, Crime Victims, etc. The on-site caseworker must be able to work with MedBill Services Case Managers and client representatives. They must have computer experience with Microsoft word, excel, and be capable of working with our T-1 data base system. The candidate must have good bedside manners, be understanding with our referred patients, have good oral and written communication skills and have excellent follow-up skills. All candidates must undergo drug testing and a background check before being employed with MedBill Services Inc.

Field representatives

This position requires a two-year college degree and a minimum of three years experience in health care. The experience must be in patient care, client/customer services. Previous experience working with health care providers and or Social service is desired. This is a field support position and reports directly to an assigned Case Manager. The person for this will be responsible for conducting offsite and home visits as directed by the assigned Case Manager. The Field Representative will work with MedBill Services Caseworkers, Case Managers and referred patients to secure information and attend appointments as directed by the assigned Case manager. They must have computer experience with Microsoft word, excel, and be capable of working with our T-1 data base system. The candidate must have a good driving record, bedside manners, and a general knowledge of the area assigned. They must also have good oral and written communication skills. All candidates must undergo drug testing and a background check before being employed with MedBill Services Inc.

Case Managers

This position requires a four-year college degree in Social Sciences or related field, and a minimum of five years experience in health care. Additional experience in, patient care, client services, financial services and/or patient accounts would be helpful. Experience working with the department of human services or the department of health is desired.  The Case Manager must have some supervisory experience and be able to work with MedBill Service’s Director of account services and client representatives. They must have computer experience with Microsoft word, excel, and be capable of working with our T-1 data base system. The position requires overseeing patient advocates and on-site caseworkers. Some travel may be required. The candidate must have good bedside manners, be understanding with our referred patients, have good oral and written communication skills and have excellent follow-up skills. All candidates must undergo drug testing and a background check before being employed with MedBill Services Inc.

Regional Manager of Account Services

The position requires a Bachelor Degree in Social Services or related field. A Masters Degree is desired but not mandatory. Candidates must have at least seven years of experience in health care and client services and have the ability to inter relate with senior management.  The position requires the candidate have a strong background with (TPA) programs (Medicaid, Social Security, Crime Victims, etc.) and reports directly to the Director of Account Services for that region. The position requires regular meetings with our client’s senior managers and the timely development of various MedBill Reports. The person for this position will be responsible for overseeing Case managers and Caseworkers and patient advocates/eligibility specialist and will be responsible for the business development of multiple accounts. All candidates must undergo drug testing and a background check before being employed with MedBill Services Inc.
